The third Mayor's Running Shield Games organized by Tarkeshwar Municipality will be held from Tuesday.
3 thousand 454 players from 53 schools will participate in the competition. In the tournament, 10 sports including football, volleyball, kabaddi, athletics, karate, taekwondo, wushu, basketball, badminton and table tennis will be contested. The competition, which is going to be held with the original slogan of 'Khel Tarkeshwar, Sandesh Ekta', will continue till November 25.
The competition was started with the aim of institutional development of city-level sports.
