New Zealand's effective all-rounder Jimmy Nisam has arrived in Kathmandu on Sunday afternoon to play Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket. For 34 years he is playing in NPL from Janakpur Bolts. He is one of the big names among the foreign players coming to play in the NPL.

Janakpur Bolts defeated Biratnagar Kings by 8 wickets in the first match of the tournament on Saturday. But he missed the first match played by Janakpur Bolts as Awudhawi was playing in T-10 league in UAE. He came to Nepal from Ajman Bolts after playing 5 games in Awudhawi. Janakpur is playing against Karnali Yaks in the second match on Monday. He is expected to play against Karnali. 

Nisam was welcomed at Tribhuvan International Airport by Janakpur Bolts General Manager Niroj Khatiwada and others. Medium pace Allrounder Neesam has played 12 Tests, 76 One Day Internationals and 79 Twenty20 Internationals for New Zealand. He played the last Test 7 years ago. Nisam has not played an ODI since last year's World Cup in India. He has been playing twenty-20 internationals from New Zealand. 

He has scored runs at a strike rate above 154 in Twenty20 internationals. Nisam has played in the Indian Premier League for Delhi Daredevils, Kings XI Punjab, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals. Apart from that, he has played in Vitality Blast, Bangladesh Premier League, South Africa T-20, The Hundred, Pakistan Super League, Big Bash, Caribbean Premier League, Champions League and others.
