Congress President Gagan Thapa mocked the program organized by the party's dissatisfied faction on Thursday in the name of BP Memorial Day, calling it a 'Gagan Thapa Criticism Competition'.
"There were also leaders whom I love and respect very much, so I did not pay much attention. If I pay too much attention in that direction, it might diminish the respect, so I did not focus on it," Thapa said at the 'New Situation, New Resolution, New Campaign' program organized at the National Assembly Hall on the occasion of BP Memorial Day.
Vice President Bishwaprakash Sharma, on the other hand, said that just because someone held a gathering, they would not throw stones in that direction, and did not respond to any of the accusations and questions raised by the dissatisfied faction on Wednesday. He said that he has moved forward with the determination to work towards transforming the party in line with BP's philosophy.
