The resignations of four ministers from the Congress in the Karnali provincial government have been accepted. On Wednesday morning, the ministers from the Congress in the provincial government submitted their collective resignations to the Chief Minister. Their resignations were accepted by Chief Minister Yamalal Kadel in the afternoon.

In addition, Chief Minister Kadel has recommended to the provincial chief for the formation of a council of ministers by reshuffling and dividing the work in the council of ministers. The Chief Minister has kept the 4 ministries vacated by the Congress.

In the provincial government, Rajiv Bikram Shah was the Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning, Ghanshyam Bhandari was the Minister of Social Affairs, Vijaya Budha was the Minister of Water Resources and Energy, and Suresh Adhikari was the Minister of Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment.

Now in the provincial government,  2 other ministers and 1 Minister of State are from the UML.
