Vijay Jairu, a central member of the ruling National Independent Party, has objected to the government not making various government appointments based on merit.

Central member Jairu expressed his dissatisfaction with the appointments being made by the government on social media on Wednesday. In the past, he said that the party had advocated for appointments and responsibilities based on merit, but when he was in the government now, it was not in accordance with the principle.

'Yesterday, we have reached here today by raising slogans against autocracy,' Jairu said. 'Today, in many government institutions or big appointments, meritocracy is not seen, but autocracy.'

Central member Jairu expressed his feelings on social media that these activities are unacceptable to those like him, who have been involved in the formation of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party since the initial stage. He asked, 'How can those who have been building the party with a selfless spirit since day one understand this?'

Jairu also says that whoever does wrong should speak out against it. 'Those who cannot speak out against the wrong they have done are slaves,' he wrote.
