Shram Sanskriti Party MP Aren Rai has said that farmers, workers, the poor and the press have been treated dictatorially.

He said this while speaking in the House of Representatives. He said, 'Prime Minister, you are not on a super expressway. You should govern according to democratic rules and procedures.' He also sought answers from the government regarding the removal of employees on contract. He said, 'The government should be corrected on such issues.'

MP Rai also raised questions about the appointment of the Vice Chancellor. He also accused the appointment process of not being transparent. He accused the government of manipulating the constitution by saying that his party boycotted the task force formed on the issue of constitutional amendment. He said, 'The rights of the oppressed and marginalized are written in this constitution. Perhaps, there is a weakness somewhere, it can be reviewed.'

He accused the government of spreading confusion about federalism and refuted the statement that federalism has become expensive. He also said that the number of provincial-level MPs could be reduced and improvements could be made at the local level. He said, "A provincial assembly is also needed to ensure the religious, cultural and linguistic rights of all ethnic groups."
