The Nepali Communist Party has demanded action against the planners of the parking of vehicles in front of the media house and the house of Gagan Thapa, the president of the main opposition party, in Kathmandu on Monday.

In the meeting of the House of Representatives on Tuesday, NCP MP Ramesh Kumar Malla demanded that the state should seize the vehicles that spread fear by parking in front of the media house and the leader's house and take action against the people involved in the act. 'Yesterday, a vehicle was parked in front of the media house in the early hours of the morning. The vehicle was parked in front of the house of the leader of the main opposition party. There was a lot of noise throughout the day about what was going on. It was seen that this activity was carried out by some people protected by the state,' Malla said, speaking on behalf of the party. 'The government itself creates the proposal that says we will fine people from 500 to lakhs, it sends such people and pays them 500 and sends them home. They should be fined lakhs and their vehicles should be confiscated. The planners should be investigated and action taken as soon as possible.'

MP Malla also said that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) should not shy away from issuing a statement on the incident. 'The ruling Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) cannot fulfill its responsibility by issuing a statement alone. The ruling party should take this issue seriously. If the government leaders have formed the idea that they can rule by creating fear, it is completely wrong,' he said. 'The day is not far when the people who sent us here with their mandates will hold a big agitation to withdraw their mandates.'

Malla also objected to the fact that Gen-G youths, who are raising the voice of the people, are being given papers stating that they will not protest in the coming days.'
