Home Minister Sudan Gurung has informed that a committee has been formed to investigate the incident in which Ganesh Nepali from Mugu attempted self-immolation in Tripureshwar, Kathmandu.
In Friday's meeting of the House of Representatives, Home Minister Gurung stated that a five-member investigation committee has been formed. 'We have formed a five-member investigation committee under the leadership of DIG Govinda Thapaliya,' he said, 'and we have also taken three Metropolitan Police officers into custody.'
Home Minister Gurung also said that the incident would be investigated impartially.
