The House of Representatives meeting has been adjourned for 15 minutes. After UML MP Rajendra Kumar Rai started his statement asking whether the Speaker would listen to him, Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal objected to the statement and stopped him from speaking.
At the same time, Speaker Aryal allowed another opposition party, NCP MP Parashuram Tamang, to speak, but he did not want to speak.
Then, ruling Nepali Congress MP Tika Sangraula raised a point of order, saying that MP Rai had made a statement that was insulting to the Speaker. The Speaker then gave UML MP Rai time to speak on the condition that he apologize for the statement.
But MP Rai criticized the Speaker for not listening to him and for not bringing a framework for running the parliament for 5 years.
Immediately after his statement, Speaker Aryal adjourned the meeting for 15 minutes. After MP Rai said, "You cannot run the House for 5 years, I have seen the floor, don't you have to listen?", the Speaker adjourned the meeting.
