Congress Vice President and Head of the Central Policy, Research and Training Institute Bishwaprakash Sharma has nominated 8 members to the Central Policy, Research and Training Institute.
The nominations were made on Monday as per Article 36 (1) (c) of the Congress Statute, 2017 (with amendments).
The nominees are Congress central member and former central president of the National Democratic Disabled Association Prakash Pantha, Prem Dhwaj Lama, who has a PhD in public policy and is a former coordinator of the Nepali Public Relations Committee in the UK, Vigyan Prasai.
Similarly, Resham Gurung, former executive president of the Adivasi Janajati Pratishthan, agricultural activist Sitaram Kafle, Pratiksha Chapagain, a master's degree in English literature representing the gender and sexual minority community, Mohan Gajurel, a master's degree in mass communication, and Anupa Shrestha, a master's degree in mass communication and journalism.
The foundation has been bringing together experts and experienced individuals from various fields with the aim of strengthening the party's policy research, ideological development, and training system. The latest nominations further expand the representation of policy, research, agriculture, communication, inclusion, and public policy-related sectors in the foundation, the Congress said.
