Opposition party NCP coordinator and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has accused the government of moving towards destroying the constitution and the federal democratic republic. At a program organized by the NCP Upatyaka Province Committee in Kathmandu on Sunday, Dahal said that the current government is not for good governance and development, but is moving towards taking away the rights of women, Dalits, indigenous peoples and nationalities under the constitution and the federal democratic republic and destroying the constitution.

'This government is not for good governance and development, it is moving towards taking away the rights of women, Dalits, indigenous peoples and nationalities under the constitution and the federal democratic republic and destroying the constitution. Be careful, you and I have reached a situation where we all have to wake up at once,' he said.

Coordinator Dahal also admitted that he had ignored the class struggle, ideas and strategies. He said, 'We have gone astray. I must take the main responsibility for that.' I don't get happiness by telling others. Because I have been the Prime Minister three times myself. I didn't tell others anything. That's why I get upset and sometimes I even say, "Let's all get rid of me quickly."

Chairman Dahal admitted that he had made a serious mistake in forgetting class struggle, ideas and strategies in the past and said that he would learn from that mistake and move forward.
