The first meeting of the central committee elected from the first general convention of the National Independent Party (NISP) is scheduled to be held today.

According to newly elected NISP General Secretary Bipin Acharya, the president can propose the names of the central members to be nominated in the central committee meeting.
12 people, including senior leaders, will be nominated in the NISP. Prime Minister Balendra Shah will be nominated as the senior leader.
The remaining 11 office bearers to be nominated include 1 vice president, 1 general secretary, 2 joint general secretaries, 1 spokesperson, 3 joint spokespersons, 1 treasurer and 2 joint treasurers.
