The office bearers and central members elected from the first general convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSWP) are set to take oath on Wednesday.
The oath-taking program for the office bearers and central members will be held at the party's central office in Chamati at 11 am on Wednesday, according to the secretariat of President Rabi Lamichhane. President Lamichhane has already taken the oath.
100 out of 158 central members were elected from the RSWP general convention held in Chitwan from Ashad 27-28. The general convention has elected the president (1 person), vice president (2 people), general secretary (1 person), and joint general secretary (3 people). Out of the 19 office bearers, the remaining 12 positions, including senior leaders, will be nominated. Similarly, since the presidents of seven provinces will automatically be ex-officio members, party President Lamichhane will nominate the remaining 51 people.
