Former minister and UML vice-chairman Bishnu Poudel, who was arrested for investigation in a money laundering case, has been remanded for a second time by 3 days.

On Monday, a bench of Special Court judges Narayan Prasad Poudel, Hemanta Rawal and Umesh Koirala extended Poudel's remand by 3 days.

Earlier, the special court had extended his remand by seven days.

Poudel was arrested from Surkhet on Asad 28 for investigation in a money laundering case. The Money Laundering Investigation Department is investigating Poudel for facilitating the purchase of shares by businessman Deepak Bhatt by abusing his position.
