Nepali Communist Party (NCP) Co-Coordinator and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the current government's attitude towards the country's national interest is questionable. He said this at a symposium on Nepal's communist movement and people's leader Madan Bhandari held in Kathmandu on Sunday. Co-Coordinator Nepal said that foreign forces are trying to manipulate us and pointed out the need for Nepal's communist parties to be vigilant in this regard. He said that communist parties in Nepal should be vigilant in preventing the locals from waging a campaign in the country, from interfering in national interests and from making Nepal a center of activities against its neighbors. Co-Coordinator Nepal also said that attempts are being made to interfere with the rights of the people. He said, 'Foreigners should not interfere in the country.' Do not compromise our national interests . And do not make Nepal the center of activity against our neighbors . We should be cautious about this . The attitude of the current government in this regard is suspicious . Just as foreign powers are trying to manipulate . We should be alert to that first of all . At the same time, various attempts are being made to compromise the rights of the people . Therefore, communists should take the initiative to protect democracy, to protect the republic .’
