'Keeping the interests of the unity and strengthening of the party paramount, I have withdrawn my candidacy for the post of General Secretary,' he wrote on social media.
Out of 10 candidates for the post of General Secretary, Kabindra Burlakoti, Pramod Neupane, Jagadish Kharel, Ganesh Parajuli had withdrawn their candidacy.
Burlakoti, Parajuli, and Neupane have decided to support Bipin Acharya.
Now, there will be a competition between Manish Jha, Ganesh Karki, Sagar Dhakal, Ranju Darshana, and Bipin Acharya for the post of General Secretary.
