Confusion as the voting machine does not have the photos of the candidates
Voting is being conducted through electronic machines to select the new leadership of the NISP. The election committee had stated that the voting machine will have a list of names with the photos of the candidates. However, voters are confused as only the names of the candidates are currently in the voting machine.
Representative Shashi Kumar Dhakal, who came out after voting, said that there was some confusion in the voting as only the names of the candidates were available without photos. He said that since there is no no-vote system, it is mandatory to vote for all the candidates in the cluster.
RSVP Bagmati Province Joint General Secretary Swastika Lamichhane said that it takes 10-15 minutes to vote through electronic voting machines. She said that it took time because it takes some time to vote patiently to select a competent central member.
