Prime Minister Balendra Shah is set to return to Kathmandu from Bharpur in Chitwan today (Wednesday). A security source informed Kantipur that Shah, who came for the first national convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSWP), is set to return to Kathmandu at 11 am on a Buddha Air flight. A security official said, "He has left the Latali Century Resort in Chitwan where he is staying." He was staying at the resort with his wife Sabina Kafle and a team including his daughter. Ravi Lamichhane was elected unopposed as the RSWP president on Tuesday. He is also Lamichhane's proposer. The election of 99 central members will begin on Wednesday afternoon, and office bearers will be elected from among those elected. However, Prime Minister Shah is set to return without voting.
