The Central Election Commission of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party has not made public the preliminary list of candidates for the central member as of 10 am on Wednesday. The statute of the RSVP provides that 99 central members will be determined through elections. The remaining 51 members will be nominated by the president. The presidents of 7 provincial assemblies will be ex-officio central members. The statute provides that only those elected as central members can become candidates for office bearers.
