The closed session of the ruling National Independent Party (NISP) is beginning on the second day of its general convention. President Rabi Lamichhane is scheduled to present a political report and proposals during the closed session. Similarly, other leaders will also present various reports and proposals.

According to NISP General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti, the disciplinary commission report is scheduled to be presented at the beginning of the closed session, which will begin at 8:30 am on Monday.

Ramakant Rimal, on behalf of the party disciplinary commission, is scheduled to present the disciplinary commission report and submit it for discussion. After that, party treasurer Lima Adhikari will present the party's financial report and take it up for discussion. 30 minutes have been allocated for the closed session to present the party's financial report and discuss it.

President Rabi Lamichhane will finally present the political report. He will present a report containing a review and analysis of the contemporary political situation and the party's future course of action in the closed session. 1 hour has been allotted for this.

After that, an interim management committee will be formed and the organizing committee will hand over all responsibility to the Election Commission.

The Central Election Commission of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will start distributing nomination forms for the posts to be elected in the first phase—the president and 99 central members—from 1 pm.

According to Central Election Commission Chief Bhuwan KC, the candidacy registration process will be conducted from 2 pm to 4 pm. The list of candidates will be published on the party's website and the Election Commission's liaison secretariat at 6 pm.

The time allotted for the candidates to file their claims and objections is from 6 pm to 7 pm, and the claims and objections will be examined within the next two hours. The time allotted for the candidates to withdraw their names is from 9 pm to 9:15 pm. The final list of candidates for the president and central member is scheduled to be published at 11 pm.

The RSS has scheduled the first phase of voting for Tuesday from 8:30 am to 3 pm. It is said that the first phase of voting will be counted and the results will be announced two hours later.
