The start of the closed session of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has been delayed after the names of MPs and central members were left out of the general convention delegates. A leader of the RSSP said that although the closed session was scheduled to begin at 8 am on Monday, discussions are underway to include MPs, central representatives, and district leaders after they were left out. According to him, the names of more than 10 MPs and central leaders have been found to be missing.
Meanwhile, the possibility of the closed session of the first general convention of the RSSP in Chitwan not being held on Tuesday has increased.
Leaders involved in the process of confirming the delegates have been discussing the start of the closed session since Tuesday morning. This information has been given to President Ravi Lamichhane.
The general convention was inaugurated on Sunday by President Ravi Lamichhane and senior leader and Prime Minister Balendra Shah.
Amid uncertainty over when the closed session will take place, the convention delegates are resting at the venue. Some delegates are dancing and singing.
