After the closed session of the National Independent Party (RSP), which was supposed to start at 8:30 am, did not start until 3:30 am, some representatives have started sleeping in the hall. Representatives who came to the closed session of the RSP amid the scorching heat of Chitwan have started sleeping in the hall designated for nomination registration due to the heat.
General Convention Representative Ramesh Adhikari said that there is no option but to wait even if the closed session does not start for a long time. He told Kantipur, ‘We have come to vote, even if we have to wait, we will vote.’ Some elderly representatives have also been seen in the hall. Water bottles with the RSP logo on the bottle have also been arranged in the hall.
Another representative from Kavre said that they have been made to suffer. ‘There is no secretariat here, no one has told us what is going on,’ he said, ‘We came here just to see what would happen, in this heat, we have done what we were told.’ Entry to the main hall designated for the closed session has not been allowed. Arrangements were made to enter the convention venue only after being checked by bouncers deployed by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Accordingly, checks are being made at the gate and then sent inside. There is also a separate check inside.
