Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSWP) Vice President Swarnim Wagle has said that the young generation can not only rebel but also govern.

‘The institutional quality of democracy needs to be raised. The constitution was made but the institutions were not strong. We want to move towards a citizen-centered democracy. We do not just rebel, we build. We are transforming into an institutional party,’ he said at the first general convention of the RSWP, ‘The young generation does not only ask questions. We want to give answers. The young generation does not only rebel, but can also govern. It does not only know how to dream, it also knows how to give results.’

Wagle said that the RSWP wants to build a liberal democracy.

‘We have come to make Nepal win rather than defeat anyone. "We are not here to fight the old generation, but to establish a new political culture," he said. "We want a liberal democracy where elections form the government but law and civil supremacy keep power dignified. Where the majority rules, the minority is also respected."
