At the inaugural ceremony of the first general convention of the National Independent Party (NIP) in Chitwan, leaders of various political parties have suggested that the NIP should responsibly utilize the opportunity given by history. They emphasized the need to move forward by keeping constitutional amendment, good governance, strengthening the democratic system and national interest at the center.

Congress President Gagan Thapa said that the public opinion received by the NIP was tempting, saying that in the past, old parties had suffered accidents due to the mania for public opinion. 'The public opinion received by the NIP is tempting. I want to praise it openly,' he said.

Stating that Nepal's political parties have received large public opinion in the past as well, Thapa said, 'There was a clash between the egos of the leaders, a clash between individuals. Because of which the accident occurred. The public opinion was understood in this way. The public opinion gave power, but it was not understood that there are limits to power. It led to a frenzy of power, due to which we started behaving undemocratically. Due to which the public opinion crashed. The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) should not have to face both these situations.'

Janata Samajwadi Party Chairman Upendra Yadav raised the issue of constitutional amendment. Stating that the constitution is incomplete, he said that it is the responsibility of the RSS to complete it.

'Although federalism, republic, inclusiveness, and secularism are important issues in the constitution, they remain incomplete and incomplete,' he said, 'The historic responsibility has come to amend, revise, and remove distortions and inconsistencies in the constitution.'

Janamat Party Chairman Chandrakant Raut (CK Raut) called the RSS general convention a revolution-festival. Raut also said that he had reached Chitwan to share the dreams he had seen.

He said, 'This is not just a general convention, this is not a festival of revolution.' 'I have also seen the same dream that you have seen. I am not a competitor but a supporter and a well-wisher,' he said. Chairman Raut also urged the RSP leadership not to forget the essence of the Gen-G movement.

He also praised Prime Minister Balendra Shah for being a person who can rise above the problem and solve it. Chairman Raut said, 'Our Prime Minister is a smart, dashing, intelligent, stylish young man.' Stating that he had heard that Devananda was banned from wearing a black dress in public places, he added, 'It is not too late to say that one day the opposition should bring an act prohibiting the Prime Minister from wearing a black dress.'

RSP Chairman Rajendra Lingden said that if the RSP party loses the opportunity given by the people, the country will be betrayed. ‘In the past, a limited number of political parties and their leaders were creating a state of loot. We had advocated that change was necessary. The institutional responsibility for the desire for change through elections has fallen on the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS),’ he said. ‘The opportunity given by history will never come again in the life of the party and the individual. If you miss this opportunity, you will betray yourself, the party and the country. Fulfill your responsibility successfully.’ He said that the RSSS has also received the votes of those who say they need a king.

NCP leader Barshaman Pun has said that there is no cooperation like the NCP and the RSSS on the agenda of good governance. He said, ‘There is full support for the campaign to establish a state. We are together on the agenda of good governance. The steps for good governance should be within the rules and in accordance with the constitution.’

He said that the issues of leadership, ideas, strategy, and determining the course of action will have an impact on national life as a whole. 'We have many similarities, both parties have broken continuity and set the path. We find ourselves close on the agenda of social transformation,' he said.

He also expressed interest in the commitment of the RSVP to the democratic system. 'We have no doubt about your intentions,' Pun said, 'We want a higher level of commitment from here to a federal democratic system with social justice.'

UML leader Pradeep Gyawali said that everyone has a question about where the RSVP will stand in national politics. He said that although obtaining a mandate is important, care should be taken in how it is utilized. The RSVP has unlimited public opinion on its shoulders and suggested that this mandate be utilized to strengthen democracy, not the wrong teachings of history.

He said that there was a rush to work in the initial activities of the government. 'There is a brake along with the accelerator in the car. If the balance between the two is not right, an accident can occur,' he said, 'If the judiciary is weak, if the presidential institution, parliament are weak and criticism is prohibited, it cannot be said that public opinion can always remain. The Nepali people can be assured that democracy is safe in the hands of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).'

He also suggested that the national interest be taken into account by understanding geopolitical and complexities. 'It is difficult for a country like Nepal to withstand the geopolitical pressure caused by a single statement or wrong decision,' he said.
