Pradeep Gyawali from UML is going to participate in the general convention of the National Independent Party (NISP) to be held in Bharatpur, Chitwan.

NISP had invited party chiefs for the general convention. NISP General Secretary Kavindra Burlakoti informed that Gyawali, a central member from UML, will participate in the general convention as a party representative. According to him, Barshaman Pun from the NCP, Rajendra Lingden from the RPP, CK Raut from Janmat, and Upendra Yadav from the JSP are also scheduled to participate.

Former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai will also participate in the NISP general convention. It has not been decided whether President Gagan Thapa or other leaders will come from the Congress.

The inaugural program of the general convention of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is being held at the Guest House Chaur in Bharatpur. The closing session will be held at the Industrial Exhibition Center of the Chitwan Industries Association.
