The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has estimated that it will spend around Rs 40 million for the upcoming general convention. The party's General Secretary Kavindra Burlakoti gave this information while announcing the decision of the party's secretariat meeting on Thursday.

The main sources of expenses for the general convention will be the registration fee collected from the delegates and the support received from the party's members and well-wishers, said General Secretary Burlakoti. He also said that discussions are underway with the service providers providing the necessary services and materials for the management of the general convention on the issue of necessary concessions.

He claims that some service providers have offered to provide services without taking profit or at a minimum fee. He says that businesses that incur a lot of expenses, including catering, have offered to charge only on the basis of cost without taking profit.

'The cost of our general convention is estimated to be around Rs 40 million. Out of that, we, the delegates, pay the registration fees and the remaining amount will come from the party's members and well-wishers.' "We are in discussions with the relevant providers, service providers or goods providers, about whether to offer discounts," he said.
