Labor Culture Party Chairman and House of Representatives member Harkaraj Rai has demanded that the controversial statement made by the Prime Minister be removed from the parliamentary record immediately. Speaking in the House of Representatives meeting on Thursday, MP Rai described the Prime Minister's statement as 'treasonous' and demanded that the Prime Minister himself attend the House and correct it.

'We have been continuously raising the demand that the statement made by the Prime Minister be removed from the record immediately, but it has not been heard. This has not enhanced the dignity of the House. Our demand that the Prime Minister correct the treasonous statement from his own mouth remains the same,' he said.

He objected to the absence of the departmental minister in the discussion under the Ministry of Defense and the ministry's budget book (Red Book) not being made available. He demanded an answer from the government through the Speaker as to why the book containing the expenditure details of the Ministry of Defense was not distributed to the MPs.
