Opposition UML MP Kriparam Rana has said that Prime Minister Balendra Shah should apologize to the general public for making treasonous statements in Parliament regarding the border. Speaking in the House of Representatives meeting on Wednesday, MP Rana also said that he was ashamed of the Prime Minister's statement that Nepal has also encroached on India's border. 'This land is the land earned by Nepali ancestors.' This should not be taken lightly. We all have love and loyalty towards nationality. We have dedication. This feeling is the national feeling. Today, contrary to this feeling, the Prime Minister makes a statement that Nepal has encroached on India's land with a blatant joke. It is shameful. I would like to urge that this treasonous statement that weakens our nationality has been expressed by the honorable Prime Minister. I demand that it be removed from the record. And, I would like to sincerely request the people to apologize,' he said.
MP Rana said that no one has the right to invade the country that brave ancestors like Amar Singh Thapa and Balbhadra Kunwar have built.
