Opposition party NCP MP Gopal Sharma has demanded that Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal issue a ruling to immediately correct the Prime Minister's border-related statement in Parliament.
He expressed anger that the Prime Minister's wrong statement regarding the border has not been corrected in the House of Representatives meeting on Wednesday and that Speaker Aryal has not issued a ruling to correct it. He also maintained that their opposition will continue until the Prime Minister himself comes to Parliament and corrects the statement.
'The government has been taking the respect of Parliament. We have asked the Prime Minister to correct the wrong statement. But till date, neither the Speaker has issued a ruling to the government, you should come to the rostrum of Parliament and correct this statement, nor has he issued a ruling, nor has the government been accountable and come to Parliament to answer,' he said.
