The Nepali Congress Central Policy, Research and Training Foundation has formed five thematic subcommittees to work on various policy and awareness-raising issues. The fourth meeting of the foundation held on Friday formed the subcommittees and selected coordinators on the proposal of Vice President and Foundation Chief Bishwa Prakash Sharma. The meeting has selected Yadav Pandit as the coordinator of the Diaspora Dialogue Subcommittee. The subcommittee will conduct policy dialogue and coordination with the Nepali community outside the post structure of the Public Relations Committee on issues such as citizenship, investment and voting rights. Similarly, Anjani Kumar Jha has been selected as the coordinator of the Policy Dialogue Subcommittee on Health Insurance and Access to Services, Santhosh Poudel as the coordinator of the Domestic and Digital Violence Awareness Subcommittee, Shree Prasad Bhalami as the coordinator of the Public Transport and Road Safety Awareness Subcommittee, and Binod Das as the coordinator of the Sports Policy Dialogue Subcommittee. The foundation has stated that it will conduct study, research, dialogue and public awareness activities on contemporary public policy issues through the subcommittee.
