The task force for preparing the 'Constitutional Amendment Debate Paper' has held discussions with three former prime ministers. The task force, formed under the coordination of Prime Minister Balendra Shah's political advisor Asim Shah, held discussions with former prime ministers Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Madhav Kumar Nepal and Jhalanath Khanal on Thursday. The task force, including coordinator Shah, had reached Dahal's residence at Man Bhavan in Lalitpur to collect suggestions. The task force held a group discussion in the presence of former prime ministers Dahal, Nepal and Khanal at the same residence. Earlier, the task force had met with former presidents Ram Baran Yadav and Bidya Devi Bhandari separately to collect suggestions on the issue of constitutional amendment. The first cabinet meeting led by Prime Minister Balendra Shah had decided to prepare a constitutional amendment debate paper by passing a 100-point agenda on governance reforms.
