UML parliamentary party leader Ram Bahadur Thapa has said that there is no evidence that Nepal has encroached on Indian territory.
After Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal made a statement in the House of Representatives meeting on Wednesday, he stressed that the ruling and opposition parties should carefully consider the reality that Nepal has not encroached on any Indian territory. He said that they are not satisfied with the Foreign Minister's response and will continue the struggle to protect nationalism in a different way.
Leader Thapa opined that the National Independent Party (NISP) can instruct its party leaders to correct such statements and that the impasse will end if the Speaker removes such statements from the parliament's records.
