Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal has fixed the meeting of the House of Representatives at 2 pm as per Sub-rule (2) of Rule 6 of the House of Representatives Rules, 2083, according to a notice issued by the General Secretary of the Federal Parliament Secretariat Padma Prasad Pandey.
Opposition parties are protesting against the statement made by Prime Minister Balendra Shah in the House of Representatives on Jestha 17. They are demanding that the Prime Minister clarify the statement in the Parliament itself. Prime Minister Shah had said in the Jestha 17 meeting of the House of Representatives, 'You may find one thing surprising. I also came to know that India has not only encroached on Nepal's land, but Nepal has also encroached on India's land in many places.'
Opposition parties have been disrupting meetings since then, demanding clarification on Nepal's statement that it had encroached on India's land. The Prime Minister has not yet responded in the House of Representatives.
