NCP MP Pramesh Hamal has said that his party has rejected the clarification given by the Foreign Minister on the controversial statement made by the Prime Minister. Speaking in the House of Representatives meeting on Wednesday, MP Hamal clearly stated that the NCP will reject the clarification given by Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal. He also demanded that Prime Minister Balendra Shah's statement that Nepal has also encroached on Indian territory be removed from the parliament's record. MP Hamal expressed the view that even though the Prime Minister has been adamant that he should appear in parliament and give an explanation and apologize, the proceedings of the parliament should not be stopped forever. 'We will continuously express our disagreements. We have decided to change the nature of our struggle to move the parliament forward and discuss the budget,' he said. MP Hamal called the words used by the Prime Minister 'seriously anti-national' and drew the attention of the Speaker to remove those words from the parliament's record immediately.
