UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has accused Prime Minister Balendra Shah of treason for his statement in Parliament. Oli has accused Prime Minister Shah of treason for his statement that 'not only India, but also Nepal has encroached on Indian land in many places'.
At a program organized in Kathmandu on Wednesday, he also said that involving a third party to resolve the Nepal-India border issue was undiplomatic. He said, 'The Prime Minister suddenly swooped in Parliament. He raised his hand and showed a show. The honorable members asked questions in Parliament. The Prime Minister spoke treasonously, saying that Nepal has encroached on the border in many places. Nepal has not encroached on India's border even by an inch. He spoke against the national interest. Who did he speak for by speaking treasonously against Nepal? What message did he suddenly try to give? Who is trying to give what? .’
He said that there is no place where Nepalis are more despised than this among leaders and workers. He said, ‘Some people are supporting such anti-national things.’
He also said that the Prime Minister has shown undiplomatic behavior by involving a third party (Britain) in the problems of two countries. ‘Undiplomatic talk is also being made about involving another country in solving the problems of two countries. If there is any discussion or debate between our neighbors, we will resolve it by sitting together. We will not resolve it with a third party,’ he said, ‘Nepal is not the property of your (Prime Minister) house. Just because you became the Prime Minister, you will not be allowed to do anything about the country.’ He warned Speaker DP Aryal to take action against the MPs who protest while supporting the opposition in Parliament.
