A delegation led by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) President Ravi Lamichhane has met with the top leadership of the Indian ruling party BJP in New Delhi. Lamichhane met with top leaders including BJP National President Nitin Naveen at the BJP headquarters on Tuesday.
BJP Foreign Department Chief Vijay Chauthaiwale issued a press release informing about the meeting. He said that the RSSP leadership is visiting New Delhi as part of the 'Get to Know BJP' program.
Welcoming the delegation, BJP President Naveen discussed the historical relations between Nepal and India. He said that the two countries have similar civilizational heritages not only at the civic level. Naveen also said that such meetings and interactions will strengthen the party-to-party relations between the RSSP and the BJP. During the meeting, President Naveen also discussed the history, ideology and organizational structure of the BJP and citizen-centered political participation.

According to Chauthaiwale, Naveen had said that the government led by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has focused on development-centric governance.
