Nepali Congress Whip Niskal Rai has commented that Prime Minister Balendra Shah's statement that Nepal has also encroached on Indian territory is baseless.
While answering questions from media persons at the Singha Durbar premises of the Federal Parliament Building on Sunday, he said that it is unbecoming for Prime Minister Shah to speak without facts in the sovereign parliament. He also expressed dissatisfaction saying that the Prime Minister did not give a sensible statement about the National Human Rights Commission report.
'Nepal has also encroached on India's border, either by saying this, this place. But the Prime Minister came to a place where there are sovereign representatives and made a kind of unfounded statement that we have also encroached on India's border. I object,' said Whip Rai. The Prime Minister's comment on the Human Rights Commission is also baseless.'
Whip Rai also mentioned that Prime Minister Shah was unable to give a satisfactory answer to the questions raised in the parliament.
