Ujjala Nepal Party (UNEPA) and Hamro Nepal Party (HANEPA) have formally merged.

UNEP Chairman Kulman Ghising announced the agreement to merge the parties during a program. Addressing the unification announcement program at the party's central office Tripureshwor on Friday, Chairman Ghising welcomed Hanepa leaders and cadres to his party.

Ghising informed that the unification process has been taken forward with various parties to establish UNEP as a strong alternative political force in the country. Earlier, Ujjala Nepal Party has also merged with the National Change Party. According to Chairman Ghising, many other political parties, intellectuals and people associated with various professions and businesses are currently in the process of merging with UNEP.

'Ujjala Nepal Party will now be established as a true alternative.' "The party will have a strong representation in the upcoming local and provincial elections, and we have moved forward to lead the country in the subsequent elections," said Chairman Ghising.
