RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden has urged the government to immediately implement the report made public by the Human Rights Commission. At a program organized in Kathmandu on Friday to mark the 36th anniversary of the party's establishment, Chairman Lingden emphasized the need to take immediate action against those found guilty by the Human Rights Commission.
'The preliminary report of the Human Rights Commission has been made public. It is of great importance. It has exposed many things. And the government should move towards implementing it. Those who are accused in this or have been found guilty by the Human Rights Commission should also be cleared as soon as possible after completing the process,' he said.
He also said that this report will not be limited to Nepal. 'This report will be recorded with various international human rights organizations related to the UN and other United Nations-related organizations. And based on this, there have been incidents in the past where various countries have stopped those found guilty of human rights violations from traveling abroad,' said Chairman Lingden.
Chairman Lingden also called on the entire party ranks not to despair, claiming that his party is the only alternative political force in the country.
