Political parties including the main opposition parties, Congress, UML and NCP, have disrupted the meeting of the House of Representatives, demanding that the Prime Minister answer the questions raised in the parliament.
In the meeting of the House of Representatives held on Tuesday, Congress, UML, Nepal Communist Party, Shram Sanskriti Party and Rastriya Prajatantra Party collectively protested and prevented the agenda of the House from moving forward. At the beginning of the meeting, after the lawmakers had expressed their views on current issues during the emergency, zero and special hours, the opposition parties created disruptions as the regular proceedings of the House began.
They are of the opinion that Prime Minister Balendra Shah should be present in the parliament and provide clarification on the questions raised by the lawmakers. The opposition parties have decided to maintain the disruption of the House until the Prime Minister is present in the parliament. Other processes of the House have been affected due to the opposition's disruptions.
