Government spokesperson and Minister for Education and Sports Sasmit Pokharel has said that Prime Minister Balendra Shah is focused on the performance of his government. In a conversation with media persons on Monday, Spokesperson Pokharel clarified that the Prime Minister is not planning to visit any country due to the busy schedule of the first 100 days of the government.

Clarifying in the context of the discussion linking the Prime Minister's possible visit to India and the foreign visit of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) President, Minister Pokharel said, "The Prime Minister is not preparing to visit any other country, not just India. We are currently focused more on the government's initial 100-day work plan and goals."

He said that President Lamichhane's visit could also be personal or party-related. He further said, "The President's visit could be purely personal or party-related, the Prime Minister has nothing to do with it."
