UML has formed a task force under the coordination of Ram Bahadur Thapa to review the huge defeat in the elections and prepare a report on party restructuring.

The task force was formed at the central secretariat meeting held at Chairman KP Sharma Oli's residence in Gundu to submit a report within a month.

The task force was formed after the demand for restructuring the policy that Chairman Oli should hand over leadership to the secretariat meeting, Deputy Secretary General Lekhraj Bhatta informed after the meeting.

The task force members include Vice Presidents Bishnu Poudel, Chhabilal Bishwakarma, and provincial chairmen.
