Labor Culture Party whip Aren Rai had demanded a ruling from the Speaker to summon the Prime Minister to Parliament as per this rule of the rules. UML whip Ain Bahadur Mahar, NCP chief whip Yubaraj Dulal and RPP whip Khushbu Oli had demanded a ruling to summon the Prime Minister to the House to implement the provisions of the rules.
The Speaker then adjourned the House of Representatives meeting for 15 minutes and met the Prime Minister. The Speaker had gone to the Prime Minister's Office to meet the Prime Minister. According to the Speaker's secretariat, the Speaker is holding discussions with the political party whips after meeting the Prime Minister.
