The Nepali Congress Central Disciplinary Committee has decided to put the clarification case related to former acting president Purna Bahadur Khadka on hold. The committee has stated that the justification for the decision has ended after the Supreme Court's decision on April 4th.
The decision was taken at a meeting held at BP Smriti Bhawan under the coordination of committee coordinator Taraman Gurung. The meeting has decided to suspend Ramechhap District President Purna Bahadur Tamang (Kancharam) from his post. The committee has stated that the explanation given on the charges of violation of discipline was initially not satisfactory and further investigation was required, so he was suspended, considering that the investigation would be affected while he was in office.
