The meeting of the establishment and other parties called by the then acting president of the Nepali Congress, Purna Bahadur Khadka, has begun. 

The meeting, which began at the party palace in Dhumbarahi, was attended by the then central working committee officials,  central members, district presidents, provincial working committee officials and members of the then House of Representatives who were in favor of former president Sher Bahadur Deuba. 

Khadka has called the meeting to suggest ways to move forward in the absence of unity and for greater unity within the party. A leader said that the upcoming 15th general convention of the party and the renewal of active membership will be discussed at the meeting.
