The Nepali Communist Party has expressed serious objection to the government's recent demolition of squatter families' huts in various parts of the country without providing them with proper alternatives.

In a press release issued on Sunday, the NCP has called for an immediate halt to such a move and demanded that the government make arrangements for their rehabilitation. The statement stated that the activities carried out in the name of managing squatters have left the victim families in a state of misery and have increased the risk of weakening the trust of marginalized communities in the state. 'We urge the government not to take such actions without making arrangements for proper rehabilitation,' the statement said.

Meanwhile, the NCP has also demanded immediate control over the increase in price and black marketing in the market after the formation of the new government. The party has deemed the attempt to ban student organizations as unconstitutional and unacceptable.

It has expressed serious concern over this, saying that it is an attempt to take away the right to organize, which was enjoyed even during the Panchayat system, from the federal democratic republic. In addition, it has been stated that the attempt to ban trade unions would violate constitutional rights and international treaties and agreements.

Stating that the people expect good governance, social justice and prosperity from the current government, the party has welcomed the positive programs. However, the statement states that the biased and unilateral tendencies seen in the governance and parliamentary practices have raised concerns.
