The RPP is going to nominate Saraswati Lama for the post of Deputy Speaker. The RPP parliamentary party meeting on Thursday decided to nominate MP Lama for the post of Deputy Speaker. According to RPP parliamentary party leader Gyan Bahadur Shahi, the party meeting unanimously decided to nominate Lama. 'The RPP parliamentary party meeting has concluded,' he said, 'We have decided to nominate our candidate for the post of Deputy Speaker. It has been decided to nominate MP Saraswati Lama.' According to leader Shahi, the RPP is going to support the RPP candidate. 'The RPP is going to support our candidate,' Shahi said.
However, the RPP has not made public who it will support. A few days ago, there was a meeting between RPP President Ravi Lamichhane and RPP parliamentary party leader Shahi.
Whoever the RSP supports for the post of Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives will win.
