Prime Minister Balendra Shah has removed Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security Deepak Kumar Sah. Prime Minister Shah removed Minister Sah after the recommendation of the Central Disciplinary Commission of the Nepali Congress and party President Rabi Lamichhane.
The party recommended the removal of Minister Shah after it was found that he had acted against the party code of conduct and discipline. The Prime Minister's Secretariat has stated that Minister Sah was removed after that.
The Central Disciplinary Commission had recommended action to President Lamichhane for Minister Sah's nomination of Mrs. Junu Shrestha as a member of the Health Insurance Board against the party's discipline and code of conduct. Based on the same recommendation, President Lamichhane recommended Prime Minister Shah.
