The main opposition Nepali Congress has held a separate discussion before the start of the meetings of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly under the federal parliament.
In the discussion held at the Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party office in Singha Durbar, Deputy Speaker Pushpa Bhusal and General Secretary Poudel informed the lawmakers about parliamentary practices and traditions.
The discussion, which was attended by members of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly elected by the Nepali Congress, also discussed the issue of effectively raising issues of public concern in parliament.
The first meeting of both houses of the federal parliament is being held at 2 pm today.
