A proposal to make Thapa the party leader was submitted in a party meeting held at the central office in Chyasal. MP Suwang Nemwang has also claimed the position of party leader.
Nemwang has also demanded that the leader be selected through an election process and said that it is also suitable for that, an MP informed.
Nemwang had opined that it would be appropriate to make a young MP the party leader.
